MIRIAM FACCENDA

Miriam Faccenda is a professional Surfer from Switzerland.

After a 15-year career in football, including 3 as a professional in the national A league, she turned to surfing at the age of 20, transforming her life into an adventure centered on the waves, the tides, the wind, surfing and travelling. 

Her goal is clear: to become the first Swiss surfer to make a living from her passion, aiming to become the best in her country and hoping to take part in the 2024 Olympic qualifiers. Travel is an integral part of her journey, as Switzerland didn't have waves until recently, but the Wavegarden in Wallis changed all that, testifying to the growth of surf culture in Switzerland with around 50,000 surfers.

Passionate about surf-style video creation and photography, she inspires others to follow their dreams and believe in themselves. Her ultimate dream is to find sponsors to support her ambitions and represent brands aligned with her vision. Greater financial independence would simplify her journey, allowing her to concentrate entirely on her training.
